1. INTRODUCTION OF MULTI-DISC SCREW PRESS DEHYDRATOR:
+ Multi-disc screw press dehydrator is the new technical machine that investors, contractors, consultants have used gradually in the sludge treatment process of the supply water, wastewater treatment system.
+ Multi-disc screw press dehydrator is the economical and environmentally friendly solution, is the integrated system and fully automatic.

+ Multi-disc screw press dehydrator;
+ Mixing container for sludge & Polymer;

2. OPERATION PRINCIPLES OF MULTI-DISC SCREW PRESS DEHYDRATOR:
Operation principle of Multi-disc screw press dehydrator bases on vibration of disc & rotation + moving of the screw to separate water out of sludge.

  • Firstly, inlet sludge pump will pump sludge into tank to mix with polymer chemical, create large sized floc, then this mixture will flow into the Multi-disc screw press dehydrator;
  • Because of shaking of a discs, a part of water is separated out of sludge, then the screw system not only moves but also rotates, will compress sludge together and continue to squeeze the water until the sludge becomes sticky and dry.
  • Moving of the screw will push sludge moving along the length of the machine and finally collected at sludge cake hopper at the end of the machine, the dry sludge is storage in the containers and disposed like normal or dangerous solid waste.
  • Water separated from sludge will flow according to the gaps between discs and collected to the sump of the wastewater treatment system.
